We offer full time childcare from 8.00am – 6.00pm, 51 weeks of the year
(excluding bank holidays)
If you are looking to enrol your child or children into Sunflower Seed please contact us to start the process, discuss your requirements and check availability. Our intake is very high so the earlier you can contact us to discuss your childs place the better.
Funding
Universal Entitlement
All 3- and four-year olds can receive up to 15 hours funded early education per week over 38 weeks of the year or you can ‘stretch’ this entitlement, offered as 11 hours per week over the year.
Extended Entitlement
Three- and four-year-olds of working parents may also be entitled to additional hours on top of the universal entitlement, commonly referred to as 30 hours funded. Eligible families can receive 30 hours funded per week for their child over 38 weeks or alternatively this can be ‘stretched’ to 22 hours per week over the year.
All funded hours can be claimed for preschool sessions only between the hours of 9.15am – 3.15pm.
